The more importance we assign to a specific occurrence, the more we concentrate on consequences. Focusing on such events, we have the innate tendency to reset or readjust our personal values to new parameters.
Negative approaches might deepen stressful thoughts and feelings unless we take control over our ability to redirect our concentration towards positive values. Anxiety moments might catch our attention and to enhance significantly the feeling of fear but if we try to cope up this feeling we might strive to detach ourselves from that particular stimulus generating stressful thoughts and to keep our mind focused on rule optimistic beliefs. This path requires truly efficient concentration techniques (task concentration and mindfulness).
